Exceptionally easy to grow and tolerant of poor soil and hot/arid conditions, Versailles Tetra Red Cosmos is a great choice for large meadows that need some color, or roadside beautification projects. Seedlings are easy to transplant, if you so desire, but the easiest way to establish a Cosmos garden is just to let nature take its course, as the plants easily reseed if left alone.
